standard precautions

I serve many clients with varying immune health or allergies. Your safety and comfort are my top priority in maintaining a low-risk environment. Please contact me with specific concerns - especially allergies like dog, cat, or peanuts.

You must reschedule if ill, have a fever, or contagious. Reschedule only once fully recovered. When I am ill, I do the same. No one wants cooties - me or other clients. Late cancel fees are waived if symptoms are sudden onset or you receive last minute notice of a contagion exposure.

A HEPA air purifier cycles my office air every 12 minutes, removing 99.97% of airborne particles >0.1 microns. It's also rated for double the square footage of my office. The HVAC system uses a hospital-grade (MERV 13) filter.

Decor is minimal and non-porous. All linens are laundered after each use. Underneath linens are waterproof barriers that shield other layers from direct contact. Contact surfaces are disinfected after each client with a hospital-grade anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral solution. By request, I will gladly to be gloved and/or masked.

scents, goo & treats

I don't diffuse oils or spray/burn/wear artificial fragrances. I occasionally do use essential oil sprays or sandalwood incense in adjacent rooms, but can refrain upon request.

Do not use heavily scented oils/perfumes/lotions before arrival. This reduces risk of allergic or sensitivity reactions for both me and other clients and is super appreciated. Hand and laundry soaps are fragrance-free, dye-free, and  formulated for sensitive skin.

I use 100% pure jojoba oil during massage; it's unscented, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic (non pore clogging), and doesn't stain fabric. You're welcome to bring your own oil/lotion, or request none to be used. Only after request or consent, I may apply a topical pain reliever or essential oil.

I offer complementary Yum Earth candy, which is vegan and free of the big eight allergens and artificial dyes.

covid19 precautions

All clients must follow current criteria and exemptions available on the CDC website. Effective April 15, I am fully vaccinated.

MDHHS orders and MIOSHA rules allow vaccinated individuals to forgo masking in most settings. Per state orders, if you are NOT vaccinated, you must continue to wear a mask at this time. Disposable masks are available. Upon arrival, I will greet you with a mask on. If you are also fully vaccinated, it is your choice if we remain masked. I will monitor updates and change policies on-going.
