CONTAGIONS & ALLERGENS
Your safety and comfort are my top priority. As I serve many clients with various degrees of immune system health or severe allergies, I strive to maintain a low-risk environment.
The office has one room and one restroom. I see one client at a time with a gap in between. No waiting area or staff.
You must reschedule if ill, have a fever, or contagious. Sometimes we just wake up sick, so late cancel fees are waived if you contact me prior to your time. You may reschedule only once you're past the CDC's contagious timeline. When I am ill, I close down and do the same.
Contact me if you have specific needs or concerns - especially severe allergies (like dog, cat, peanuts, or aloe).
Under the linens on both the massage table and face cradle are waterproof barriers shielding other layers from contact. Linens are properly removed and laundered after each use.
A HEPA air purifier cycles the room at least every 12 mins, removing 99.97% of airborne particles >0.1 microns. This purifier is rated for double the square footage of the office. The HVAC system uses a hospital-grade (MERV 13) filter.
Either by request or for a specific need, I can be gloved.
Decor is minimal and non-porous. All contact surfaces are disinfected after each client visit with a hospital-grade anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral solution.
scents and goos
I don't diffuse oils. I also don't spray, burn, or wear artificial fragrances. I do often use essential oil sprays or sandalwood incense in adjacent rooms, but can refrain upon request.
Please do not apply heavily scented oils, perfumes, or lotions before you arrive or while at the office.
Soap for hand washing and detergent for linen laundering is fragrance-free, dye-free, and designed for sensitive skin.
I use a non-scented, hypoallergenic lotion from a closed dispenser during massage. I also have a hypoallergenic jojoba oil available. You are also welcome to bring your own preferred lotion or oil. Only after request or consent, I may apply a topical muscle reliever or Simply Earth essential oil.
You must reschedule if you have symptoms of or a positive test for COVID-19 OR were in close contact with someone who has symptoms of or a positive test for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to your appointment. Late cancel fees waived if symptoms are sudden onset.
At this time, we both must wear a mask the entire visit. I have disposable surgical masks available. Additionally, my uniform and masks are changed multiple times per day.
You must read and sign this risk and tracing consent form. It will be emailed the day before your massage. If you have concerns that may lead to canceling, you must follow the cancellation policy, or fees may apply.
If a client or I receives a positive COVID-19 test, I'll adhere to the State Department of Health's advice and guidelines.
