standard precautions

 

I serve many clients with varying immune health or severe allergies. Your safety and comfort are a top priority in maintaining a low-risk environment.

You MUST reschedule if ill, have a fever, or contagious. Sometimes we just wake up sick, so late cancel fees are waived if you contact me prior to your time. You may reschedule only once you're past the CDC's recommended timelines. When I am ill, I close down and do the same.

 A HEPA air purifier cycles all the office air every 12 minutes, removing 99.97% of airborne particles >0.1 microns. It's also rated for double the square footage of my office. The HVAC system uses a hospital-grade (MERV 13) filter.
 

Underneath all massage table linens are waterproof barriers shielding other layers from any direct contact. Linens are properly removed and laundered after each use. Decor is minimal and non-porous. All contact surfaces are disinfected after each client with a hospital-grade anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral solution.

By request, I can be gloved. Contact me about specific concerns - especially allergies like dog, cat, peanuts, or aloe.

covid19 precautions

 

You must reschedule if in the last 14 days you:
- have symptoms of COVID-19
- are positive for COVID-19
- are waiting on a test for COVID-19

- are instructed to quarantine
- attended a large indoor event

 

You must also reschedule if you had close contact with someone with something on that same list above.

 

Remember, late cancel fees are waived if symptoms are sudden or you get last minute notice of exposure. Unsure if just allergies? Let's err on the side of caution for now.

At this time, we both must wear a mask the entire visit. As state regs and CDC guidelines change, this will be reevaluated. Disposable surgical masks are available should you forget or need to change a mask. My uniform is changed multiple times per day and my masks (cloth outside with KN95 inside) are changed for each client.

You must read and sign this risk and tracing consent form. It will be emailed the day before your massage.

I have received two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinate as of April 01, 2021.

scents & goos

 

I don't diffuse oils. I also don't spray, burn, or wear artificial fragrances. I do use essential oil sprays or sandalwood incense in adjacent rooms, but can refrain upon request.

 

Please do not apply heavily scented oils, perfumes, or lotions before you arrive or while at my office. This is a courtesy to both me and the next client and is greatly appreciated.

The soaps I use for hand washing and linen laundering are fragrance-free, dye-free, and designed for sensitive skin. I use pure jojoba oil during massage. It is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores), and does not stain fabric.

 

Only after your request or consent, I may apply a topical muscle reliever or essential oil.

You're more than welcome to bring your own lotion or oil as well.
